Image Matrix

The prequel to the three part book cover redesign was the Image Matrix Project.

The Vertical Configurations – consists of Semantic associations [Images that deal with the meaning between cells]

The Horizontal configurations - consists of Syntactic associations [Images that deal with the formal qualities between each cell]

Within this project I displayed different forms in which Chaos can manifest alongside the build up and result of the actions committed. Chaos can take on many different forms, both positive and negative. I kept this notion in mind when picking out 3 books that embodied the theme of Chaos in some way. Violence, death, illness, war, power struggles, and morality are all derivatives of Chaos explored throughout
