Helen Jaramillo is a Queer Ecuadorian graphic designer born and raised in Newark, NJ. As a graphic designer and multimedia artist she explores and begins conversations surrounding the sociopolitical and historical themes that affect everyday life. Said exploration is conducted through the lens of international pop culture. Her work is rooted in both the importance of craftsmanship and advocacy and is meant to shed light on the media that is consumed and the political reality of the world.
Through her experience and ties with civic engagement, policy, craft, and education she is able to offer a unique perspective.
